This year we are asking for your help so we can make Catwalk the best yet! If we reach our project goals we will be able to offer more opportunities and resources for the students. Click on the link to the right to find out more about how to help!

During this event we host a series of free workshops in which students, ranging from elementary to high school, design and construct wearable art made from a variety of traditional and non-traditional materials. We want any student that is interested to participate, no matter what experience they may or may not have in sewing and non-traditional garment design. Through our weekly workshops, participants will learn the basics of using a sewing machine and construction techniques, while being guided on how to use the materials they choose. Through the use of a recycled material we hope to teach environmental consciousness and how to think outside of the box. The day of the Catwalk Fashion Show we have students model their creations, choose the music and emcee the runway. In the past we have been able to showcase Catwalk at CityPlace and the Clematis Green in West Palm Beach, and at Harbourside Place in Jupiter. Every year the designs get more innovative, inspired and extravagant as the students continue to participate as designers and models, along with the guidance and encouragement that the workshops provide.
