Educational Gallery Group

The Educational Gallery Group, known as “Eg Squared”, is a non-profit organization started by the Visual Arts teachers at Bak Middle School of the Arts, located in Palm Beach County, Florida.  Our goal is to give any child in our county, attending public, private, or home school, an opportunity to display their art or perform in a public setting. For many of these students it is an experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives. For some, it is the catalyst that will determine a life-long commitment or career in the arts.

Eg2 has monthly exhibitions of student artwork from public and private schools across Palm Beach County. Each exhibition has an opening reception, where the young artists bring friends and family to see their work exhibited.  Our artists range in age from elementary to high school.

In order to bring some unity to the exhibitions, we plan a theme for each show, and have a section of the gallery that shows reproductions of work by professional artists whose work relates to the theme.
