In case you missed it -- Eg2 had its second CATWALK

in CityPlace Plaza on March 29th.  We had over 30

creative dresses on the runway this year, some of

which were inspired by the businesses at CityPlace.

Here are a few choice examples:

The Educational Gallery Group: A Community of Young Artists

(Eg²) has been created as a space to showcase the visual and

performing art talents of all students in Palm Beach County.

Eg2 is a non-profit organization that creates and supports young artists. Eg2 educates, develops, fosters, and showcases creativity for students and teachers, in order to build confidence and leverage creativity, enabling more productive, better-educated kids, and raising the quality of life in our community.

We believe that Art Education is vital -- that young people exploring and developing their creativity is critical to our future as a society.  The quality of life comes not from the ability to take standardized tests, but from a more profound interaction and exploration of the world.  By supporting our art teachers, and through them our children, we are ensuring a more dynamic and positive future for us all.

The Macy's Art Wall:

Check out Eg2's newest exhibition -- outside of Macy's by the trolley stop on Rosemary.

The images in this new outdoor exhibition site will be changing periodically.

Right now we are featuring selections from work from the Scholastic Art Awards Gold Key winners.

Thanks to our sponsors for the opportunity to showcase our student work in an exciting new venue!
